Dr. Gregory McBride, Senior Pastor
Dr. Gregory McBride has been the Senior Pastor of Bellview Baptist Church since May of 2000. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Art from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1986. He earned his Master of Divinity in Old Testament Studies and his Doctorate in Old Testament Hebrew Studies from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. McBride has a passion for reaching the lost and is certified as a trainer in Masterlife Discipleship, Evangelism Explosion, Continued Witness Training, and FAITH. He served as the Administrative Director of Pensacola Distance Extension Site for the Baptist College of Florida and is presently an adjunct professor for the college. Prior to Bellview, Dr. McBride was the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Inwood in Winter Haven, Florida, pastor of the Kittiwake Baptist Church of Pass Christian, Mississippi, Interim Youth Director of the Bayou View Baptist Church in Gulfport, Mississippi, and Minister to Youth and Children at the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church in Sandy Hook, Mississippi. Gregg and his wife, Angela, have three boys, Joseph, Jordan and Jonathan.
Raleigh McGougan
Raleigh McGougan - Minister of Music
Raleigh McGougan has been the Minister of Music at Bellview Baptist Church since December 2002. He is responsible for worship in the services and works with the adult choir, Praise Team, and children’s choir. Mr. McGougan graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s Degree in Church Music. Since graduating from seminary, he has served at three churches in Mississippi and Alabama as Minister of Music and Youth, one church in Louisiana as Minister of Music and Activities, and prior to Bellview was at Warrington Baptist as Minister of Music and Senior Adults. Raleigh is a multi-talented, much loved part of the Bellview Baptist Church team.
Sharon Marshall
Sharon Marshall - Ministry Assistant/Financial Secretary
Sharon Marshall has been the Ministry Assistant at Bellview Baptist Church since September of 2005. She is the personal secretary to the pastor and is also responsible for all publications, mailings, communications, membership, correspondences and Sunday School records. She is an assistant to all ministries of the church. She also became the church financial secretary in February of 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Alabama and taught school in Alabama for 1½ years before beginning her life as a full time mother for several years. She served at two mega churches as Children’s Choir Coordinator for 8 years and has written children’s music curriculum for Lifeway. She has been an avid handbell ringer for over 20 years and has been to Kazakhstan twice and Germany once on handbell mission trips. Sharon has three children, one son-in-law, one new grandson, one puppy and three grand-puppies. She and her husband of 32 years, Larry, are active members of Olive Baptist Church.
Dixie Beal
Dixie Beal - Bellview Baptist Child Care Director
Dixie has been the Director of the Child Care Center since June of 1995. She serves with Assistant, Ann Dean, and 9 teachers to minister daily to an average of 75 children. Dixie has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Florida and taught 4 year old kindergarten for 16 years at East Hill Christian School.
She and her husband, Burnell, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. She is a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and is now active in the PW.
Jean O'Brien
Jean O'Brien - Child Care Financial Secretary
Jean O’Brien has been a member of Bellview Baptist Church since 1981. She was first employed as part-time financial secretary and part-time child care worker. She was the Director of the Child Care Center for 10 years and then transitioned back as part-time financial secretary. Jean is responsible for paying bills, payroll, and all other bookkeeping duties of the center. She also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Child Care Center. Prior to coming to Bellview Baptist Church she was the church secretary at Central Baptist Church of Pensacola for several years. Her job before that was that of full time wife and mother. Jean and her husband, Roy, (one of Bellview's former Ministers of Music) celebrated their 50th anniversary in May 2007. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
